Chris Brown performed Turn up the music Lyrics for the first time at the Grammys on Feb, 12. It is the first single from "Fortune" - his fifth album coming on March 16. The song was inspired by Brown's dance moves.
The official music video of the electro dance track, which was a co-directed by Chris Brown and Godfrey Taberez, premiered on 17 February. It already has over a million hits on Chris Brown's youtube channel. It is Brown's debut in directing and was filmed in LA. Brown referred to this video as his "best video by far" on twitter. Godfrey Taberez said they aimed at making the video fun. Beaming lights, dancing "animals", people with masks, sick choreography, Chris Brown in black suit, danceable music… a party set on fire.
