In last November, Jennifer Lopez won an AMA for "Latin Artist of the Year", and thus dethroned Enrique Iglesias who had won it 5 times in a row. Later it was confirmed that a greatest hits album will be released by J-Lo in 2012. Through the years she has had a huge number of chart-topping hits, so she can make a promising collection.
After releasing her seventh album "Love?" , she has been busy with the shooting of "What to expect when you are expecting" movie. It is a Lionsgate production, directed by Kirk Jones, based on the book having the same name (written by Heidi Murkoff) and it is scheduled for a release on 18 May 2012 in USA. The cast includes J-Lo, Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Banks and Dennis Quaid. It also features cameos of Black Eyed Peas and Cheryl Cole. After The Back-Up Plan, this is the second baby-themed movie J-Lo takes part in.
J-Lo's latest single Papi Lyrics is a cheery dance-pop track written by RedOne. The lyrics centre on how a woman (when in love) should dance for her man.
